PFP on Borough of Culture Steering Group

Back in 2020 Croydon won the bid to become the next Borough of Culture in 2023 and later that same year we applied to be part of the steering group. We are delighted to share that we were selected, and the committee meetings are now under way! We have also volunteered to be on the Access Subcommittee, and we hope to help ensure that events are created with the highest level of consideration for accessibility for the hundreds of unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people living in our borough. As funding pots open up to support artistic projects during the year, we will be submitting our myriad ideas in the hope of adding out own stamp to the year’s events. All to say - good things and full steam ahead!
