Exhibition: Kalila Wa Dimna

Don’t miss our newest exhibition: Kalila Wa Dimna: Ancient Tales for Troubled Times. Brought together by the brilliant team of Rania, Rachel, and Zaliah, we have contributed audio and visual work in response to our experience of exploring the Tale of the Four Friends, and its moral of the essence of collaboration.

Opening night is May 12 from 6-9pm at P21 gallery and you’re invited! All info available here at https://www.kalilawadimnaexhibit.com/

The Play for Progress community has explored the nature of storytelling and cultural fables throughout this term in their weekly after school creative programmes. Play for Progress' process of creative exploration is young-person led and everything created in these sessions will represent the time the group have spent sharing culture, practicing self-expression and building relationships with one another. The exploration of these themes may lead to soundscapes of storytelling, visual representations of cultural tales, musical and poetic responses, which will be featured within the exhibition and be accessible online.
