Refugee Week 2020: Get Ready!

Today we should have been at the @vamuseum performing, playing and raising the roof with new friends and audiences to launch @refugeeweekuk like we’ve done for the past three years

Needless to say, we’re gutted to not be there in person today, but we are so encouraged by the solidarity, awareness, and community care that we have seen flourish during this time. With that in mind, it’s a PERFECT time to join in Refugee Week 2020 which starts TOMORROW

Refugee Week 2020 (15-21 June) invites you to join in with others across the country and “imagine the better world we want to see” (this year’s theme).

Starting tomorrow, we’re going to be taking part in the #8SimpleActs campaign, showing that we stand with #refugees & want to make new #connections in and between our collective #communities.

We’ve got events, activities, and sharings lined up each day to take part and hope you’ll join us

Whether you plan an event or activity around a Simple Act or just take part during the week itself, you’ll be joining a big, creative, collective movement to imagine a better world.
