February Half Term: Kalila Wa Dimna

Another Half Term another collab ❤️

Our music, art, and education departments are all joining forces for this week’s deep dive into storytelling and the famous Kalila Wa Dimna fables as well as the stories we all carry with us of friendship, community, and collective wisdom.

Specifically we will be diving into the story of The Ring Dove from Kalila Wa Dimna - an ancient collection of stories that have crossed into many cultures across the centuries - and also explore the folk stories that we all hold within us. We expect it will yield rich areas of inter disciplinary and collaborative play, and any “products” that might result such as artworks, poems, music and immersive storytelling soundscapes will be featured in this exhibition later in the year, so mark your calendars! www.kalilawadimnaexhibit.com
