Art has a magical way of helping us transcend borders, make unexpected connections and discover new things about our world, and ourselves. 

Today’s #SimpleAct is an invitation to #discover #artwork, #objects and #stories that open windows to experiences of displacement, and help us re-imagine our shared future.

Back in January, we opened “Roots and Branches,” A Collaborative Art Exhibition for the Museum of Croydon that begs the question: How can we work together to cultivate a community of healing, enrichment and growth for all of us?

Though you may not be able to visit just now, we and the Museum of Croydon are delighted to cordially invite you to visit the exhibition online…to tide you over until you can actually get there, of course!

We hope you'll enjoy the block prints, paintings, photographs, hip hop tracks, compositions and more that our community of young people and artists created. 

We also hope you'll take a moment to offer your creative responses to the work and submit entries to our community participatory reflection wall.
