World Children’s Day

20 November is World Children’s Day and this November we took the opportunity to join forces with Project Play and discuss the rights of children. We shared about what we do and how we work to preserve every child and young person’s right to play, and to shed light on some of the harsh realities of young people seeking asylum. Watch the discussion here on our Zoom/Facebook event.

In the event we shared a bit about how we use trauma-informed settings of play to engage with and build strong, lasting relationships with young people who have made it to the UK as their host country during their teen years. At the intersection of trauma-informed engagement in music and art, we can and do find a very rich soil for community support and healing, and we hope you will join us to spread this method of working.
