March Motivation

For our #MarchMotivation today, we want to talk about coming to the mic. The choice to be heard and amplified, to speak or sing, to allow loving others to listen (all as you weigh the benefits and risks of sharing a vulnerable part of yourself)... All of this can be POWERFUL. 🎤

But when those listening, loving ‘others’ are trained in the complexities of trauma, and well aware of the challenge of stepping off the precipice of music-making to put your voice into the world—then it’s TRANSFORMATIONAL. 💓

At @playforprogress, we work with silence as much as we work with the music. For today’s #MondayMotivation, we ask that you all take a moment to listen to one another, our one world and one people, with love. Think about how much courage it takes to stand up to the mic. Then listen and love. 💞
