Winter Party

Nothing beats soup for the soul, and our Young Leaders cooked up some magic in the kitchen for our end of year party.

Resident Chef Mo and his team of Sous Chefs (including Young Leaders Hussein, Amadou, Reza, and Yeski) sent us off for the break with bellies full of loving nourishment. Young Leader Jalal made sure that we had traditional Afghan tea on the fire, which warmed us right to our toes and kept the frost at bay.

As young people left our end of year party this year, everyone got a hot water bottle, a bag of gooes, aand had the chance to “shop” from the “PFP Winter Store” (the collection of clothes, gloves, hats, and scarves that have been donated to us throughout the year) and take home as many bits of clothing as they might fancy or need.
